Elijah calls down fire on Mount Carmel. Daniel spends the night in a den of lions. Ezekiel watches a valley of dry bones rattle back to life. The prophets carry some of the most vivid stories in scripture, and your sermon visuals should be just as memorable.

That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce the newest addition to our Characters of the Bible collection: the free Messengers & Prophets graphic templates kit! These professionally designed, customizable church graphics give you everything you need to launch a sermon series on 10 of God’s messengers. You’ll get visuals as bold as the message behind them, without hours of design work.

Meet the messengers & prophets in this kit

Last year, we launched our Characters of the Bible Graphics with four kits: Foundational Figures, Kings & Rulers, Heroes & Leaders, and Faithful Women. This new kit adds the voices God sent to call his people back to himself.

Inside, you’ll find sermon and social templates for:

  • Elijah: Faced down the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel and heard God in a gentle whisper.
  • Elisha: Received a double portion of Elijah’s spirit and carried his ministry forward.
  • Isaiah: Answered God’s call with “Here I am! Send me” (Isaiah 6:8) and foretold the coming Messiah.
  • Jeremiah: Wept over Jerusalem and wrote words of hope to God’s people in exile.
  • Ezekiel: Saw a valley of dry bones come back to life by the breath of God.
  • Daniel: Stayed faithful in Babylon, even in the lions’ den.
  • Hosea: Showed God’s relentless love through his marriage to Gomer.
  • Joel: Promised that God would pour out His Spirit on all people.
  • Amos: Left his flocks in Tekoa to call Israel to “let justice roll down like waters” (Amos 5:24).
  • Obadiah: Wrote the Old Testament’s shortest book, a 21-verse message of God’s justice.

Prophets sermon graphics for every part of your service

Each prophet comes with its own set of matching templates, so your visuals stay consistent from the first Sunday of your series to the last. Every template set includes:

  • Sermon art: Main title slides that set the tone for your message.
  • Invitational slides: Promote your series during announcements and encourage your church to invite a friend.
  • Verse slides: Display key scripture passages on screen during your teaching.
  • Lower thirds: Add sermon titles, Bible verses, or speaker names to your live streams and recorded videos.
  • Social media images: Main art and verse graphics to promote your series on Instagram, Facebook, and more throughout the week.

Planning a full series on the prophets? You can pick one prophet for each week, or pair these templates with our Major Prophets and Minor Prophets Books of the Bible kits for a book-by-book study.

Customize your graphics in minutes with Canva

You don’t need to be a graphic designer to create powerful imagery! Every template opens in Canva, a free and easy-to-use design tool. Pastor names, church names, and text are all editable, while the artwork stays polished and ready to go.

Getting started takes just a few clicks:

  1. Choose your prophet: Click the button for the template you want. When the Canva link opens, select “View template” and then “Open in Editor.”
  2. Make it yours: Click any text box to update your sermon title, pastor name, or church name.
  3. Download & share: Select “Share” in the top right corner to download. For slides, choose PNG and drag the size slider all the way to the right for crisp, high-quality screens. For social, download a PNG or share directly to your channels from Canva.

Bring the prophets’ messages to your church

The prophets spoke to people facing idolatry, injustice, exile, and doubt, and their words still speak to your congregation today. We hope these graphics help you tell those stories well. With the design work done, you can give more of your week to preparing the message itself.
