BE BOLD: The time is now!

October 2, 2025

We are living in an era of lightning rod moments. Turn on the news or scroll through your feed, and the tension is palpable. Evil is tragically on full display.

We see “wars and hear rumors of wars” (Matthew 24:6). We witness deep political division and a pervasive sense of unease that leaves people searching for an anchor in the storm. A spiritual battle is raging for the hearts and minds of society, and people are desperately looking for hope, for truth, for something that will last.

That hope has a name—Jesus Christ. And the primary ways the world encounters that hope is through the Holy Spirit, God’s Word, and through His body, the local church.

This is not the time for a timid church. This is not the time for a quiet or hidden church. This is the moment for the followers of Jesus to rise with courage and clarity. The world is looking for answers, and we have the greatest news ever told.

Now is your time, Church. BE BOLD.

When we turn to God’s Word, we see many leaders of the early church who embodied this boldness. In Acts 14, Paul and Barnabas’ bold preaching led many Jews and Greeks to believe in Jesus. Despite opposition from those who stirred up hostility against them, they stayed and continued speaking boldly for the Lord, and God confirmed their message with signs and wonders in the midst of a pivotal moment!

During this pivotal moment today, the tension we’re facing motivates the Church to harness every tool available to boldly live out our mission. To be bold like Paul and Barnabas in the 21st century requires more than a pulpit and pews. It requires a microphone that can cut through the noise of the culture and reach people where they are.

That’s why at Subsplash, we are laser-focused on building that microphone—a super-charged, integrated digital platform that empowers churches to fulfill their mission and be bold in a digital age with resources that cut through the noise and carry the hope of Jesus directly to people’s hearts.

The surge is real

The cultural turmoil is having a real effect. But during these past few weeks, we have heard countless reports from churches experiencing something extraordinary: a surge in attendance. Amazingly, church leaders are reporting traffic jams in their parking lots and lines stretching out the door. One pastor reported they had 1500 new people come attend their church. People are seeking refuge, community, and truth. They are showing up.

Additionally, Millennials and Gen Z, are seeing dramatic surges in attendance. These younger generations are reporting that they’re opening their Bibles for the first time too. They’re showing up and they’re seeking truth and answers at churches—including yours.

This presents two critical questions for every church leader:

  1. If you are seeing this surge, can your church keep up with the increased demand and effectively disciple everyone who walks through your doors?
  2. If you aren’t seeing a surge, how are people in your community meant to discover you?

In both scenarios, technology is your friend. It is the tool that allows you to scale your ministry, amplify your message, and engage your community with excellence.

If you’re not being discovered, start here

If your church is struggling to connect with new people, it's time to claim your voice by laying a foundational digital presence. For a message to be heard, it must first be accessible. You must be discoverable. Ask yourself:

  • Is our website a welcoming front door? Is it easy to navigate? Can a first-time visitor find your service times, location, and what you believe in seconds? Is your site using the right localized keywords to be recognized by those searching, both on AI and search engines?
  • Are your sermons online? The single greatest insight into your church is the teaching from its pulpit. Making your sermons available online is a non-intimidating way for someone to get to know you before they ever step inside.
  • Are you creating clear opportunities for invitation? Does your digital presence make it obvious how to get involved, join a small group, or attend an event? People are longing for community and 55% of Americans are desiring to participate in community activities, which is up from only 32% 20 years ago.

These aren't just technical details; they are acts of hospitality. They are how you boldly declare, “We are a trusted place for truth, hope, and authentic community.”

If you’re growing, go deeper

If you are one of the churches with lines out the door, congratulations—and now the real work begins. A crowd is not yet a community. A visitor is not yet a disciple. Boldness for your church means moving beyond attraction to intentional discipleship.

This is where your digital tools become absolutely essential for nurturing the individual. Your goal is to help each person go deeper in their faith. Technology allows you to do this at scale by creating a centralized hub for your ministry.

Imagine empowering your congregation to go deeper with:

  • The Bible: Link your sermons directly to in-app Bibles and custom reading plans that help people stay engaged with God's Word throughout the week.
  • Leading culture: Reference Pulpit AI’s tool to create and share sermon content to impact followers multiple times each day.
  • Community: Use your app to foster real connection through group messaging, event registrations, and a directory for small groups. Help people find their people.
  • Ministry: Provide easy access to online giving, a prayer request wall, and a full media library of past sermons, worship music, and other resources.

This is the super-charged microphone in action. It’s not just about broadcasting a Sunday service; it’s about building a fully integrated ecosystem for discipleship. It’s about being bold enough to equip your people for a lifelong journey with Jesus, seven days a week.

Now is the time to be bold

The world is hungry for hope. Let's be bold enough to meet them where they are and offer them the life-changing love of Jesus. The time is now.

Subsplash’s vision is to make the gospel incredibly accessible. Our heart is to serve the Church by creating innovative church tools and resources for maximum impact—through websites, apps, media, and engagement tools that bring people closer to Jesus every day of the week.

As Acts 4:13 says, Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.”

Now is the time to be bold so more people are drawn to Jesus!
