Tim & Kristy Turner form Subsplash as a design and consulting studio, hire their first employees in Seattle, WA, and start developing iPhone apps—even before the App Store had launched.
Subsplash creates the first-ever church apps on iPhone, iPad, Android, and Apple TV, as well as adding the Subsplash Media Player and Dashboard.
Subsplash Giving is added including GrowCurve™, our commitment to help churches and ministries keep more resources for what matters most.
One-Click Publishing, Websites, and Roku TV Apps are introduced to the Subsplash Platform, allowing churches to share content across apps, websites, and podcasts with just one click.
Subsplash Messaging and Live Streaming are announced as the powerful, integrated way to build authentic community and stay connected.
Subsplash One is announced as the leading unified for church management and engagement, now featuring People, Groups, Child Check-in, Volunteers, Service Planning, Events, and more.
Pulpit AI joins the Subsplash platform, plus the first CarPlay and Android Auto apps for churches, and Fire TV and Google TV are added, as well as Apple Pay & Google Pay.

Our founders
Subsplash was formed in 2005 by Tim and Kristy Turner. They set out to build a great and lasting organization where passionate people would create, collaborate, and innovate—all for the glory of God.
What started as a consulting and software design studio for multiple world-class brands eventually led to the creation of the first iPhone app for a church—a pro bono service for the Turners’ local congregation. Tim and Kristy felt the Lord calling them to “trust and obey” by using their business to serve more churches, and their projects were wildly received by the global church community and mainstream media alike.
